tv show alert: fresh meat.

While we're all watching American shows, there are British gems we should discover, like this one! I've discovered the show over the last weekend and have almost finished the 16 episodes. (A third season as been comissioned.)

Fresh Meat is a dramedy about Manchester university freshmen who share an off-campus house because they didn't get rooms in student housing. (From left to right:) Good-girl Josie, who starts her first term under the wrong guy. Geology student Howard from Scotland who likes to blow-dry meat. Mysterious Oregon from, who… is something else. Rich kid JP, who would prefer a maid over flatmates. Ordinary Kingsley – who'se face you might have seen on Inbetweeners – who looks to talk to his neighbor Josie via a glory hole between their rooms. And finally Vod, who is neither a lesbian nor a motivated student.

The show shows all their misfortunes during their first and second term.

A great watch, if you like… Misfits, Skins, college movies.

  1. I discovered this show in November but I'm still on the second season! It's nice to see someone else who likes it and doesn't look at me like I'm crazy when I bring it up :)
